Oracle Applications Forum Meetings The first Oracle Applications Forum presentation in 2005 will be from Diane Roberts, the former Director of Information Technology at Cingular Wireless and a current DOUG board member. Please join us for this informative presentation called 'Lessons Learned at Cingular Wireless: Strategy, Implementation and Support for Oracle Systems'. The date will be Thursday, January 6, 2005 at 4:30 - 6:00 pm at the SMU Legacy campus in Plano. Please RSVP to the email below. Ms. Roberts has more than 20 years of experience in management and information technology positions within the research and telecommunications industries. She has served as a Senior Director of Information Technology at Cingular Wireless, LTD. Cingular combines SBC's and BellSouth's domestic wireless operations into a nationwide carrier, serving approximately 22 million subscribers, with 14 billion in annual revenues, serving a 38 state area with a population of more than 200 million. While at Cingular Wireless, Ms. Roberts staffed organizations, created performance and incentive plans, managed the relationships between IT Delivery and various business organizations including, but not limited to, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources and Engineering. Under Ms. Roberts' program management, Cingular Wireless completed a $30 million Oracle 11i implementation that delivered process and technology enabling Cingular to differentiate itself in the marketplace.
