Business
Intelligence Focus Group Recap for 2004
By Amy Stevens, BI Focus Group Chair
|
|
| |
As
Oracle professionals, our main focus is on data. And we all know
that the amount of data that we handle on a daily basis is growing
at an exponential rate. In the past, reporting projects have often
been on the back burner. However, in our ever changing global business
environment, executives want information that is timely, accurate
and can help to quickly identify strategies for improvement. Business
intelligence is the practice by which data is extracted, loaded
and presented to provide executives with the tools they need to
make strategic decisions for their businesses. Oracle is quickly
becoming a leader in innovative BI tools.

we rely on Corporate Sponsors to cover the majority of the expense.
In order to bring our members even more exciting special events
we are in the process of developing a Corporate Sponsor program.
